Terms of Use

These terms govern use of the Prime Traffic School website and enrollment in our Florida online Basic Driver Improvement (BDI) course, operated by Prime Traffic School, LLC.

The course

Prime Traffic School, LLC offers a four-hour online BDI course. Instruction is timed on our servers. You must complete the work yourself. Allowing another person to take any part of the course, or taking it for someone else, may invalidate completion and may be reported to the court or motor vehicle agency that required the course.

Accounts, sessions, and fair use

You are responsible for keeping your login secure. Only one active course session is permitted. Identity validation may occur during the course. Failing validation, sharing an account, running the course on more than one device at a time, skipping or circumventing timers, or using automated tools may lock the enrollment pending review and may be reported to FLHSMV or the clerk.

Eligibility

We do not decide whether you may elect BDI instead of a court appearance. Florida law limits elections (including a lifetime cap and a 12-month waiting period), excludes commercial driver licenses and commercial learner’s permits from election benefits, and excludes some citations. Confirm eligibility with the clerk in the citation county before you enroll. Paying for this course does not make you eligible.

Your duty to elect and verify

If you are taking the course because of a citation, you are responsible for electing BDI with the clerk in the citation county (when election is required), finishing the course in time, giving us accurate license and citation details, and checking with that clerk and with FLHSMV that the records posted before your deadlines. Creating an account here is not an election. See the FAQ for current election limits, reporting windows, and certificate timing.

Payments and refunds

Enrollment fees are charged at checkout. Access to timed chapters begins after registration acknowledgments and payment (or an authorized school unlock) are complete. Refunds, when available, are described in the Refund Policy. Questions about a charge or course access should be sent to admin@primetrafficschool.com.

No guaranteed court or insurance outcome

Completing this course does not guarantee dismissal of a citation, withheld adjudication, a point reduction, an insurance discount, or any particular result with a court, FLHSMV, or insurer. We do not pay your ticket. Confirm requirements with the clerk or agency that referred you before you enroll.

Availability and limitation of liability

The website and course are provided as available. We work to keep them running, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Prime Traffic School, LLC is not responsible for missed election or court deadlines, ineligibility, delays caused by incorrect enrollment data, clerk or FLHSMV processing, payment-processor or internet outages, or any court or insurance result. If we are legally responsible for a problem with the course, our liability is limited to the course fee you paid to us.

Florida law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules. If a dispute must be heard in court, it should be filed in a Florida state court. We have not named a specific county of venue on this page; if that changes, we will update these terms.
